Once you have commenced your doctoral studies, there is a wealth of handbooks and information that can be helpful.

Student unions 

There are numerous student unions for doctoral students, which can assist you with various matters, such as facilitating connections with other doctoral students.

At the university level, you have Lund Doctoral Student Union, and within the faculties, you can find the Faculty of Science Doctoral Student Council (NDR) and the Doctoral Section (Doktorandsektionen) within the Student Union at LTH (Teknologkåren).

Lund University also has a Doctoral student representative (Ombudsman). If you have a problem or issue as a doctoral student, you can contact an impartial doctoral student representative, the Doctoral Student Ombudsman, for advice.
